Cool Insider Info & New Tips About Your Favorite Cars, Trucks, and SUVs!
2024 GMC Yukon
Since the New GMC Yukon is one of the most popular SUVs on the road today, and has been this popular for some time now, creating a new Denali trim level might be the move that makes the 2024 GMC Yukon the most celebrated SUV in America. Here are a few of the more impressive features that come with the new Yukon Denali:
- Alpine Umber leather upholstery throughout the interior of the SUV
- 16-way power front seats, including a massage feature
- Open-pore wood trim running throughout
- 18-speaker Bose sound system with all the modern features
- Super Cruise Control, a hands-free, autonomous driving system that helps to keep you safe and on the road at all times
There’s plenty here to be excited about in the 2024 Yukon Denali, but we had to try the massage seats. A few of Liberty’s technicians gave the seat a try, and it provided a great massage. Here’s how to adjust the intensity and type of massage you receive while on the road:
- Locate the Massage Adjustment button and turn it to the “on” position to start your massage
- If your vehicle has a multi-function Massage Adjustment control button, those sitting in the front seat will see a graphic displayed on the Infotainment screen of the type and intensity of their massage
- Select the massage function with the outer ring of the circular adjustment control on the side of the seat and you will see another graphic come up on your Infotainment screen
- Use the up and down arrow buttons on the face of the circle to select your massage type–as you click through them, you will see corresponding images displayed on the screen
- Use the forward and rearward arrow buttons to control the intensity of your massage

2024 GMC Acadia
This year’s new features to the GMC Acadia include updated LED headlamps and a sleek black redesign of the vehicle’s rear. Also, 20-inch wheels and an AutoSense Power Liftgate with Presence Recognition have been added to the Acadia Elevation trim as a standard feature.
There are plenty more features to consider when looking at any of the 2024 Acadia’s trim levels. Here are a few of Liberty Buick GMC’s staff favorites:
- Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking–when driving below 50 miles an hour, this feature will alert you if there is the potential for a front-end collision, and it will also automatically apply emergency braking if the driver does not respond quickly enough.
- Safety Alert Seat–this specialized seat vibrates and pulses at the bottom of the seat for various warnings. This is an option instead of having auditory or visual warnings and is a great way to keep you safe when you have a car full of talkative kids, or you feel like blasting your favorite song.
- Front and Rear Park Assist–Park Assist detects objects or people around you when you are driving at low speeds. Typically, it gets used when parking or navigating through congested areas. We have found this feature to improve even the worst of parallel parkers.
- High-Definition Surround Vision–this digital bird’s-eye view comes at high definition and gives a crystal-clear image of the area around your vehicle when driving at low speeds. The image of your area pops up on the Infotainment display, helping you to avoid objects and perfectly park in just about any spot.

2024 GMC Terrain
The 2024 GMC Terrain is a crossover, but it’s as tough as an SUV. The brand-new Terrain comes with all-wheel-drive, which is an important move for GMC because it defines this particular crossover as something a step above others on the market. All wheel drive offers more power than front-wheel-drive, but it doesn’t guzzle as much gas as four-wheel-drive, so it keeps you on the road longer.
This year, the new GMC Terrain SLT has a 4-cylinder Turbo, 1.5-liter engine. This particular engine can push 175 horsepower and offers 203 feet of torque. The 2024 Terrain ensures a longer-than-normal lifespan for a crossover, and it has enough power to pack a punch and get any job done. Liberty Buick GMC customers are already finding the 2024 Terrain a great in-between that still gives enough oomph for off-roading capabilities and the ability to handle chaotic weather situations.

There are tons of reasons to place yourself inside the 2024 GMC Terrain, but its capability to operate as a high-level, luxury crossover that comes with plenty of trim levels and add-on features is the 2024 Terrain SLT’s biggest selling point. What GMC does extremely well, besides making the toughest trucks, crossovers, and SUVs around, is provide customers with a multitude of options–and people love options. It is a great feeling to have some say in what you buy, especially when the purchase is as large and important as that of a new family vehicle. Come test drive the 2024 Terrain and see for yourself!
GMC Sierra Pickup Trucks
One aspect of GMC pickups that draws much attention is their luxurious power: a base powertrain of a 10-speed automatic transmission, 401-horsepower, 6.6-liter, V-8 engine; or the 10-speed automatic transmission, 470-horsepower Duramax turbo-diesel with a V-8 engine–with 22,500 pounds of maximum conventional towing. America’s favorite truck is also loved for its innovative trailer assist features: Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, Transparent Trailer View, plus adaptive cruise control with trailering. But for seasoned Sierra truck drivers, these tout-worthy features are nothing new. Whether you are battling traffic going between Matthews and Charlotte, towing a boat to Lake Wylie, or enjoying a joyride through Crowders Mountain Drive, the Sierra is your truck.
GMC’s largest pickup gets a slight facelift in 2024. There’s also a revised powertrain that allows for more towing capability. The power and torque levels of the 6.6-liter Duramax turbocharged diesel V-8 have been pumped up to 470 horsepower and it offers 975 pound-feet of torque. Another big change is the replacement of the 401-horsepower, 6.6-liter V-8 gas engine’s automatic transmission with a (Allison-certified) 10-speed automatic transmission–one that is usually reserved for diesel engines, so you know it’s tough.
What’s more, there is a new Denali Ultimate trim that comes in the 2500 HD and the 3500 HD that displays a higher level of luxury than any other trim level. The Denali Ultimate includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel and door panels; a 16-way power-adjustable front heated and cooled messaging front seat (both driver and passenger) that includes intricate leather stitching that creates a topographic map of Alaska’s Mount Denali.

2024 GMC Canyon
New technology and safety features have been added to the 2024 Canyon, and the all-new GMC Canyon has already received a four-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. During a year with a lack of innovation and design features in other trucks like the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier, the 2024 Canyon is this year’s best in class.
In particular, the Canyon’s Elevation base trim level offers a mid-size pickup truck with a manufacturer-suggested retail price of $36,000. The Elevation trim comes with a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that provides 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The 2024 Canyon Elevation is one of the most popular test drives here at Liberty Buick GMC, and the following specs are a good reason why:
- 3-inch diagonal center touchscreen
- 8-inch diagonal digital driver information center
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility
- LED projector headlights with Intella Beam
- LED daytime running lights
- LED turn signals
- 2-inch lift
- Gloss black and satin black front grille
When considering the 2024 GMC Canyon, don’t be thrown off by the term “mid-size.” When it comes to the Canyon, this term does not mean mid-level, or sub-par. “Mid-size” is not an accurate term of presence either, as the Canyon has a V-6 engine with over 300 horsepower and a bed of up to six feet long. So, you can call the Canyon whatever you like, but this mid-size machine matches up well with any size truck.
